How many times is it possible to kill Avatar of Mogdrogen?

I know once per difficulty, but does normal/veteran count as 2 separate difficulties? I'm pretty sure I could kill him on normal atm, but cannot yet do it on veteran. However I want to make sure if I kill him on normal that I will be later able to kill him on veteran too. Because with prevous character when I killed him on veteran I wasn't able to kill him on normal later...

I heard from a reputable source when he was killed on veteran he wasn't able to be killed on normal later. The answer to your question is in there somewhere.

Veteran is just a "toggle on" mode for Normal that increases monster density and HP, so quests and completion are the same for Normal and Veteran.

You can kill him on Normal/Veteran once, then Elite a second time, and Ultimate a third time. Ultimate Avatar is currently impossible to solo, unless someone can show a video (current game version) to prove me wrong......

There was a video of a team of 4 killing Ultimate Avatar very quickly using Fevered Rage and a whole load of debuffs.

Its possible to kill him solo. My friend did it in 30 mins or so.

Yes I can't kill him solo on Ultimate. I just killed him solo on normal with my very squishy Warlock (lvl 73), took me very long to do it and I died once in the process. I can't do it yet on Veteran and I messed up now cause he can't be killed more than once on both Normal/Veteran. I wanted to try it on Veteran once my current character gets BiS gear and max level/devotions, but yes I messed up now :(

So here is the first hand confirmation: He can definitely only be killed once either on Normal or Veteran. So he can be killed 3 times max with a single character, not 4 times.

People have been killing him solo Ultimate for as long as there has been Ultimate. Nine (another GD tester) did it when it was still in testing before Ult made public if I remember correctly. Not 100% on that tho, it's been awhile, but I feel reasonably sure he was the first player to actually do it.

Oh, I'm aware that he has been killed before.
My point is that it was easier to kill the Ultimate Avatar in the earlier versions (due to certain skills/item procs that have since been reworked, nerfed or changed in interaction etc.), hence I asked for a video of the current game version.

There weren't any really major changed to Soldier/Nightblade in 1.0.1.0 so I guess it should still work.
