Start now or wait for DLC?

Hey guys, a friend and I are planning to do a fresh run of GD here and I assume the story will take place after Ashes so I thought we should get through the story and other DLC first but I also don't know if the DLC will have QoL updates that will make the main game different enough to be worth the wait.

What do you guys recommend?

The storyline of FG isn't a continuation of AoM. FG's content can be accessed once you have beaten the Warden and are at least level 15.

You assume wrong. FG will be accessible as soon as you kill Warden Krieg in Act 1. It's a separate storyline so doesn't folllow on from AoM. However, Zantai has said the smoothest gaming experience would be to do base game, AoM and then FG.

But the choice is entirely yours.

I wonder same too,
Should i start sub mastery i will combine with Oathkeeper now and take second mastery after DLC or not..
Will be worth or not have no clue.

That's up to you. I'm sure there are many people who have leveled some toons in preparation to pair them with Oathkeeper.

Been in the same boat, i have finally decided to play seriously for the first time since i bought it and i am level 16 blademaster however i am not sure if i should stick with it as a first time player or wait till the expansion and then start.

For now i am on Diablo 3 and decided once i get to a certain paragon (35 away) i will take a break and then jump to GD for sure so the level 16 toon i have is on hold for now unless i decide to reroll and switch things up but i have no knowledge of the oathkeeper anyways so i don't think it matters since i am new to the game.

I'd say,wait and buy FG.Go on the streets and steal from passerbys if you have to.
