No 2 Hand Legendary Fire Swords?
I wonder why they don't have a legendary Fire based 2 handed sword in this game. Seems like such a given...

Unfortunately no, but there are a number of 2-handed maces to choose from. Shar'Zul's Worldeater, Infernal Brimstone, and Barthollem's Warmaul are quality options. There's also Blazerush if you want to make something quirky.
Part of me just thinks aesthetically a fire based 2 handed sword should be in the game. Its disappointing that there isn't one. Oh well.

2h Swords in this game are just generally disappointing tbh.

I have 3 builds coming up using them specifically for them, because otherwise it just always feels like I'm better served with a mace or axe.

Is kinda silly, yeah. Seems like an obvious fantasy trope to go completely unfulfilled. Though on the plus side, you can turn any two-handed weapon into any two-handed sword you've found before, visually speaking, while retaining the stats. Did that with Shar'Zul's Worldeater when I was playing a fire commando build that was meant to be Paladin-like.

Indeed they are awful pretty across the board, and the ones which have a use are generally sort of odd caster hybrid weapons

Perhaps Zantai just hates big swords
Makes zero sense to me - I love 2 handers. They really need to resolve a lot of the issues in this game with bizarre anti synergistic, and often weak 2 handers.

Couple of the new FG 2h swords are pretty decent

closest to fire we get is a couple 2-handed elemental blades such as the Arcanor and Temporal Arcblade
Yeah I'm familiar - thats a shame. I do like how those look, but when you're a fire build its kind of nice to have your weapon line up

Funny though, I am toting this weapon around, never use it, just to have it in my hands for the stats. My hands are my weapons.

Unless it's the looks you're after, there's Arcanor, Blade of the Luminari. Offers ~450% elemental damage, which to my knowledge fully applies to fire as it's not flat dmg. Has bonuses to forcewave and inquisitor seal.

edit: oh, Dracuras already mentioned it. Didn't catch my eye as I was mentally searching for blade of the luminari :'(

It wouldn't be a problem at all if there weren't specific devotions tied to what kind of weapon you're using.

Well, I just transmog most of my weapons anyway and I don't use those devotions, so it doesn't affect me personally, but I can see the issue with it.

yeah.

and i think just use the 2h weapon ranged as is melee work it doesn't seems have problem, except you using full melee weapon build. in the end it was same, need attack speed, damage, OA, and lifesteal.
