Blood of Ch'thon very rare?

Is this a very rare item? I can't seem to find any even after going through a Ch'thon rift.

Fairly rare yeah. It only drops from chthonic hero enemies marked by a star, and boss enemies. If youve gotten to the blood grove you can farm bolivar the bloodbinder for it.

Where is this guy located? I was thinking about farming the rift by Blood Grove but.....

Often near where the prisoners are being held or the shrine.

The rift is good Idea too - sure there is bunch of hero units inside. Bolivar is in same area as rift,

It also randomly drops from locked chests that need dynamite to open - it is random and any chest in any game area can drop it.

Best area for farm is Bastion of chaos dungeron at Necropolis.

Note when you reach Necropolis, you will get access to smith that can change all 3 resources (blood/hearth/brain) to any of them - so basicly you can look on those resources as on one an transform them as needed - so depend on how far you are, you might just progress bit more.

He has a few locations he can spawn but all close together. Use this site to find the exact spots easily.

I like doing Void's Edge (Barrowholm rift at the Altar of Gods) for Ekket'Zul and assorted Heores through to the Cinder Wastes/Fringes of Sanity for Lunal'Valgoth and Gabal'Thunn (Mourndale rift). I also clear out Mourndale itself for the Heroes and the body that spawns Rakka'Valgoth. Doesn't take long to blitz through it all and doesn't require a Skeleton Key and you are guaranteed to run into Nemesis whatshisface (Edit: Grava'Thul).

Trevor Trove chests have a chance to drop one.

There is a spooky skeletal smithy in Necropolis which can turn Ancient Hearts into Blood of Chthon. Also costs like 5k iron bits or around that.
