Either wear gear that provides energy regen in the meantime or exercise some restraint until you get a grasp on it.

I understand that over pointing something, im currently playing oathkeeper with full eye of reckoning, soul fire, Divine mandate, and the minion you can summon 2 of.
And as I mentioned above you also have the option of utilizing gear that offers it. Plus Devotions offer answers as well. Or you could tone the skill back to a level you can handle it at.
You have multiple paths to achieve this. And they can all be mixed and matched.
Look for other energy regen type components you can combine or make at a blacksmith and snap 'em into your gear.
Energy management isn't a big deal in GD even for casters once you learn the ropes.
