A quick google search reveals that the benchmarked single thread performance on your CPU isn't significantly above mine, so I suspect it would not go so great for you either.
That said, this is an excellent game and it's worth trying to see if you can make it run decently. Just get a refund if you can't.
I'll definately get the base game in the next sale to try at least. I definately want to play even if it's not until I finally upgrade from my old dinosaur. I will soon, there's not been much motivation for me to do so because I play mostly indie games that work just fine. (Not that I don't consider this indie, it's just more demanding than the ones I have)
Maybe this will provide the shove I need to splash out :)
I find lately that the big restriction on my video card is GPU memory; in Grim Dawn the video memory was not maxed out at low-medium settings and 1366x768. And of course, Grim Dawn seems to prefer single threaded CPU performance to multiple cores so the game's never really gonna run that amazingly for me, but it seemed passable for the couple of minutes I was in game, including a bit of combat.
So yeah, try it in the next sale.
Installed, and played a bit of the first area on the default settings it gave me. It ran just fine.
The default settings were: 2560x1440 resolution; textures, shadows, weather and shaders set to high. Reflections, Particles, and Lighting set to Medium.
So....yeah.......can't complain so far! It could hardly be better, I was so pleased. I don't usually care at all about graphics, but Titan Quest before GD was such a beatiful game, particularly with all those unique and detailed weapons and armour.
I've only played a few hours, but it's so great; it gives a nostalgic feel of playing Titan Quest while also being fresh and new.
I think I'll pop back to Humble B and try the expansion.
