Looking for more active builds with more variety in attacks.
Right now I am playing a shaman/soilder because I wanted to do the battlemage thing and he is fun but all the builds ive seen are maybe 2 attacks one heal and the buffs. I need something with a bit more variety and effective any ideas? Thanks all!

You should find plenty of "piano" builds in the build compendium on the forum.

Plenty of Battlemages too (Soldier/Arcanist).

Builds involving arcanists, nightblades and inquisitors tend to have the most active skill use. I mean, nightblade arcanist as an example has to be quite pianoy as its squishy as f**k and relies on lots of different skills and CD reductions shenanigans to stay alive.

I'd look for a DoT build, like poison or bleed. Since independent sources stack, you'd want a lot of different attacks.

Bro no one has time to look down every single builds, I appreciate you trying but really im looking for someone to narrow it down a little as others did which I greatly appreciate, also I was told solider/arcanist is not very effective anymore.

The build database has tags for Classes, Damage types, Skills used, and playstyles. You gave little definition of what you wanted/

I dont care what it saids its still allot to go through I gave a clear indication of what I wanted I doubt you can prove otherwise, typical response from you ive seen you around kris.

I like Nightblade's bag of tricks.

You regularly Psionic Burst for speed and buffs, but sometimes delay to get it's heal effect. Blade Barrier is for 'oh ♥♥♥♥' moments. Shadow Strike is like Blitz; quick attack opener or escaper. And then add your second class skills to that (and any item skills).

Then there is also the 'proc devotions' kind of build. My pet guy cycles through 5 different spells in order to proc devotion skills linked to them. In other words, my pets attack while I run around casting to support them.

I dont see any need for the hostile tone... completely uncalled for imo

Ain't nobody got time to figure the game out (or to do a 5 minute research) but sure everyone got enough time to stir some good ol' forum drama. That's the way it goes on the Interwebz.

Anyway, Imma save you some time and post four piano-ish builds.

Being passive agressive and making a clear rude judgement about someoneone you do not know is also uncalled for.

Look im asking for shortcuts no one has to give them but im asking it requires me a few mins to spend posting compared to the many more minutes it takes looking through every single build, id rather spend my time doing other things, now allot of kiddos do not get this as they do not have long hour jobs and what not but regardless it is my choice to ask not really for others assume.

Yes you are very very special with your job. Nobody else in the world has a job. Congratulations, I'm sure your mother is sobbing with joy and bewilderment at your accomplishment.
