Wolcen is that way ->

In all seriousness though its silly imo, its one of those things that when available in games is a no brainer why would anyone ever dual wield single handers ever again so for me id rather not have the option kills diversity

You'd have better luck asking in the modding section of Crate's forums. Will the devs implement it in official Grim Dawn? Doubt it. They'd have to do all sorts of contortions to make it less than crazy OP.

Diablo 2 did it with two-handed swords and the best swords for barbarians are still one-handed swords. Two-handed swords were usually slower than one-handed ones so the one-handed ones were preferred even if they dealt less damage and had less range.

You could probably mod the models though, but then i have zero knowledge of modding just seems doable.

Didn't they also have two different damage values for two handers being one handed? My memory of that game is a bit foggy.

Yes they did, but two-handed swords still did more damage one-handed than one-handed swords.
