Class Combo Like Diablo 3's Demon Hunter
So Arcanist is pretty much a clone of D3's Wizard, Necro is based on D3's Necro, so what combo gets close to the Demon Hunter? I mean, in terms of throwing a bunch of bullets/arrows around. Sabetour makes the most sense, but I don't know if Inquisitor + something would be better.

Probably Inquisitor+Demolitionist

You have bolts/bullets, traps, grenades, bombs, and sentries (although they're mortars, not crossbow sentries). Lots of fire, too.
wowee! i wouldnt say they're "clones" of diablo III, they're pretty different in a lot of aspects.
Diablo is a grind game, with paragon power as it's bread n butter for time equals reward. Grim dawn has more class potential and a god power system for even more unique builds. Where as diablo literally has only 7 classes, and each class has only 5 builds, 2 for speedrunning, 2 for group endgame, and 1 random make your own but mostly for fun without high paragon.

I wasted years on diablo 3, it's boring as ♥♥♥♥ now, it's good if your new and it'll treat you well for a few seasons, but after playing over 10 seasons it's boring af

...How did that have to do with this thread?

I swear, the only thing worse than Undertale and Witcher-fanatics are the people who claim that Diablo 3 is terrible in every thread they can find.

The stupidity of people sometimes baffles me, even in 2018...

I went with an Inquisitor + Demolitionist, which gave me similar vibes and was fun to play. You could try that.

Activision/Blizzard has plans for upcoming Diablo game, 2 of it's games actually...
Grim Dawn is what I wanted D3 to be. This is why I had about 100 hours on D3 and 2700 on GD. It felt like each class was only worth playing through once so it lacked replayability. Maybe they will do better next time.

They've added replayability, it's called Seasons. Like Helghast Agent said, it does get boring once you've collected all the pieces to the sets, or even before then. Peronsally, I think Grim Dawn has done a great job of adding many possible dual-class builds where even a minor skill change can make for a very different class playstyle.
So, as for the OP, I'd agree that going Inquisitor+Demolitionist would be pretty close to a Demon Hunter from Diablo, but not WoW. Then again, that points out that each game can have a different twist on any so called defined class.

Only three other games, have come along that I've played over and over again and never got bored playing - Elite (original 1984), Dragon Age Origins and Dragon's Dogma.

Crate have created an absolute gem of a game that I can see becoming, possibly, the best ARPG that's ever been.

I would add Kingdom of Amalur and Nier as games its impossible to get bored of...

Arcanist is a pretty blatant clone of Diablo 3's wizard, all of the spells and most of the buffs are basically lifted whole-cloth. I prefer Grim Dawn, but as someone whose favorite D3 class is wizard and favorite GD mastery is Arcanist, it is obvious. GD with a second mastery sllows mroe customization.

On topic, inquis+demo looks good.

Is everybody sick or something? After reading the OP when it was posted I expected this thread to go up like an illegal fireworks factory.

I don't know if you're joking about the Arcanist being a Diablo 3 clone or not. Especially when a lot of spells are inspired by or are the same as many DnD spells, like the Diablo 3 wizard's Magic Missile and the Arcanist's Replicating Missile compared to Magic Missile in DnD.

I was waiting for it too after the Arcanist is a clone of the D3 wizard comment.
