BUG Report: Clense the corruption Quest.

I got the quest from Mogdrogen outside the Ancient Grove and also got the skeleton key from him. I went inside the ancient grove, used the key to enter the heart, but unfortunately I died inside the heart.

Well my quest is still incomplete since I did not kill the target.
I tried to go back, but cannot enter the heart since the skeleton key is used up.
I tried to talk to Mogdrogen, hoping to get another key, but he just asked me to go in and kill without giving me a key.
Fortunately, I can make a skeleton key since I have the blueprint, but the door does not open as it is locked by Mogdrogen!!!!

Ouch!!! This is a catch-22 situation.
Quest still open, and there seems to be NO WAY to complete the quest at all.

Is this a bug? or is there some possible way of completing this quest after dying?
This is the first time that I encounter a quest that cannot be completede once I die.

Can anyone, or the dev, help?

Roguelike Dungeon doors only open once per session, so simply start a new session and your newly crafted key will let you in to a fresh dungeon and another go at the boss.
