Which faction do we chose?

I am playing a fire purifier, should I go Kymons or Death Vigil? My co-op partner is playing a Spellbinder using cold damage, which should he go?

Seriously though, you can choose different faction each in sp, but i do not know how it will work in coop. Kinda curious about that myself.

Most important thing faction can give you is, probably, augments. You can go on grimtools and see what will be helpfull to both of you.

Thanks, we selected different ones and it wont let us do the quests together. No biggie though, we will just do the faction quests solo.

My friend and I just did this, chose different factions. Then in his game I was hostile to his faction while he was hostile to mine. Our buffs actually made these parts a bit funny because they would help the faction you chose. So in my instance, my friend buff'd Kymon's Chosen when he was around, which he did to make it more of a fight. Still didn't help those poor souls.

But yeah, check which augments/items you'd prefer and choose that faction.

Kymons chosen for fire and general elemental damage gear (elemental being cold,fire,lightning. Deaths vigil for more vitality and chaos type gear.

Nah, Kymon's Chosen is for Fire, Lightning, and Physical, not Cold. Death's Vigil has the Cold stuff.

Also, if you have Necromancer as one of your masteries, you can only go with Death's Vigil.
