enchanted flint and fire aura
I see on the net that enchanted fling is supposed to give a fire aura skill but i instead get access to burning weapon, is the skill still in the game? i wanted to combine it with the inquisitor aura but i do not see where i could find it

The fire aura is called Burning Weapons. It gives you a buff/aura type spell that boosts your fire damage and gives pets a fire damage bonus (can be useful, but there's better options for pets)

The aura was changed to Burning Weapons long ago in order to fix a bug that sometimes accidently killed allies in multiplayer. The same is true for all component-granted auras.

ok thank you, so is there another fire aura beside the inquisitor one? i know about the frost one from shadowblade but that's about it, unless vindicative flame is an aura and not a retributive effect

There's no functional difference between the fire aura and Burning Weapons other than that it no longer affects allies. Is that really so important? They are still toggle buffs that you can attach devotions to.

as i understood, the aura did damage to enemies in a certain radius while burning weapon does not seem to do that and instead simply buff my attacks

It did not. It added 5 fire damage to attacks with a 10% chance of 75 burning damage, and +35% fire/burning damage to all allies within 15m.

Burning Weapons provides the same utility, at a high power, and you don't have to worry about pets getting more than 15m away and losing the buff.

Correct. The old fire aura and Burning Weapons are identical except for the fact that Burning Weapons does not affect allies.
