Secondly i would love to have an overhauled Crafting-Menu, where you don't have to fuzzle over the Crafting-Menu, but it "auto"-craft the Materials and such automatically or atleast an Shortcut-system where you simply can click on the Material and if it is something craftable it moves you to the Material.
Third i would love to see the Difficulty System overhauled. There shoudl still be Veteran, Elite and Ultimate, but you don't need to replay three times. Like Veteran you choose your Difficulty but keep the Progress which you already have, and if you really want to replay the Story/Campaign, then there should be an new-game+ Option.
Or even better, additional, component only tab in shared stash with a button described above to free a tab fot all those new mythical legendaries that we'll be farming.
Also, quests that require mats like ancient hearts should take one from the stash if it's not in the inventory. Right now they're a pain in the ass.
and Blacksmith. Though would want it to search by affix keywords (bleed damage, pierce, cold resist, etc) and not the item/componant name--that would be useless if it only did that.
More lightning, chaos and cold constellations would be cool. Also being able to have more of the buff devotion skills be able to be bound to pets.
This. If you don't use mods, you spend a LOT of time picking up components. Auto pickup of components would be huge in terms of minimizing fuss, especially now that so many more seem to drop after AOM.
Also, some increas in stash would be great--the shared stash especially--maybe something magically expandable, like the old Diablo Horardic Cubes, that you could buy/quest for and put in the existing inventory tabs.
It would come handy to introduce a way to keep the glow active so you can check the components. Maybe a little button next to each equipment slot that toogles it? It would also help with another little problem i have when checking components: huge popups with the item's characteristics that cloud everything under them, including a big chunk of the components in my inventory.
If you hold the ctrl button while hovering over an item, the info "cloud" disappears, so it makes it somewhat easier finding components for said piece, but you do still have to memorize them, or keep checking.
titan quest AE has it too.
It's why so many mods run an exe while running the game or run an exe to start the game or drop some files in the 'main' gd installation folder. Yes, these are mods but not exactly a true developer invisioned mod ("by the book" so to speak). Hell, most mods aren't even created with the gd mod creation toolkit.
So larger global storage, to save manually having to go into each character and transfer around if you run out of room. (I have 10 characters at the minute and have no space left for top gear - it's a real nuisance trying to remember which character has what gear in their personal stash).
Ability to transfer Iron would be great. Auto collecting components as well. I hate trawling through the blacksmith to try and find an add on for specific items, so that's a cool idea to have it broken down.
- autopickup components
- increased stash size
- that the visual effects of the skills you use changes when you convert damage from one type to another
