Devotion for Inquisitor
Finished the game on Veteran, Inquisitor lvl 48, but i didnt use any devotion point because i dont know what build is effective. For now i am 2 handed with only Word of Pain with its passive skilles and Word of Renewal maxed out. Any ideas for build and devotion?

not using any devotion points is question: why? xD

At first it may seem hard to understand the basics of devotion system but now it even has search option, and you can even play around in grimtools.com with 0 cost.

For 2 handers I always recommend "Kraken"... Ghoul, Eel, Lion are really good in any build really, even Jackal and Lotus now.

For big ones if u focus on, for example, fire... then Torch (which is 3rd aka last devotion and doesn't give any affinities (coloured balls back)), for cold Leviathan maybe... Lighting - Ultos... and so on.

Elemental is more tricky because you must focus on all 3 and always rememmber to get resistance deffubers (RR - Resist Reductions such as Solel's flame, Widow, Murmur Kiss...)

You can respe devotion points at any time, so, there is no point to keep them unused
You are only handicaping yourself

Use your points in devotions helping you right now (not always the ones you will want with 55 points)

With more points, figure 1 (or 2 or 3) high tier devotions you really want (fitting you main damage or bringing something useful to you) and device a path to there
You dont always want a high tier devotion, but well...

If you are using 2handed, Kraken is generally a must
Use devotions to enhance or to patch holes in your build...balance with your stuff
Dont discard low tier devotions, many of them are very popular...because they are just great (hawk, bat, ghoul, sailor....)

So, word of pain means elemental damage. Quill is a good start for that route, as is scholar's light. Kraken is great for all 2hander builds. Rhowan's Crown is necessary, since it reduces enemy elemental resist. If you find yourself focusing on one of the elements over the others, check out the appropriate resist reducer. Widow for lightning, Murmur for cold, Witchblade for fire.

Don't underestimate DA and OA boosts, especially ones that are % based. Viper, falcon, chariot, widow, and a few others boost OA. Solemn Watcher, quill, wolverine and a few others boost DA.

Try picking a tier 3 constellation (furthest towards the outside) and work on getting that one. That gives you something to guide your decisions at first.
