Base game + AoM?
Base game + AoM + FG?
Base game + AoM + FG + Crucible?
All depends on you, and whether you really enjoy it or not, try new builds or not, and progress from Normal > Veteran > Elite > Ultimate.
Possibilities for replay makes it pretty much a question of how much time do you have to play? Hundreds to thousands of hours is entirely possible. Look at the hours on some of the most passionate and "obsessed" players on these forums, lol...
(It will eat your life if you let it...) ;)
Thanks for the free weekend
I could have been a heart surgeon but, I think I made the right choice. Got tons of purples.
Yeah i don't quite see the point in rushing since you are not competing against anybody in this game. Character progression starts from level 2, and especially for new player it's good to get to know your skills, game mechanics, maps and quest locations.
And what's the fun part? I've beaten the game more than dozen times yet i don't still rush. I think the leveling is the fun part.
The fun part is the part where leveling seems faster (And is, but that's only because so much leveling was ignored before) :)
If you don't rush through the game, you'll progress normally.
If you do, you'll have quests giving you literally a quarter of your xp bar sometimes.
I guess the fun part is also unlocking hardcore mode faster.
My new character had hardcore unlocked by lvl 50 and I think that's pretty good to have everything unlocked at that point.
The fun part could also be the part where you get cool weapons.. Which would mean kinda the same, rushing to harcore mode.
Depends on everyone, seems the fun part is the entirety of the game for you which is fine; people like me prefer to rush to get everything unlocked so that they can finish their build faster.
If I had to explore 100% of the game everytime I wanted to try a new build, it would be unplayable for me !
