Oathkeeper Build (Fire or Elemental)
Have been working on a new Oathkeeper lately and have decided to make use of some of my Fire/Elemental gear so was wondering what might fit that best I'd prefer something melee as I just generally prefer smacking things but am not against ranged either. I know Inquisitor and Demo are good for those and to be fair most my gear buffs those two but was curious about Warlord (I DO have one or two items that buff's soldier) How is it? (First Oathkeeper was an Oppressor tried some poison ones but never got too far)

there alot of set with demolist and oathkeeper that increase elemental attack, but the best and very sycronize is fire, physical, trouma.

I like paladin for aura of censure and word of renewal. Shieldbreaker is good because it gets a lot of good passives (flame touched, temper, vindictive flame, blast shield). Warlord is good because there's great synergy between the two classes.

All told I think you'll find Paladin the most effective for a fire/elemental (especially pure fire) because you can stack RR from both classes using aura of censure and celestial presence.

I would also recommend Paladin. The double RR is great to say the least and on top of that it's easy to convert everything to fire.

Are Either of classes better for Aegis of menhir type build? Sorry for slow reply posted that earlier before leaving to grocery shopping and went to sleep finally when I got back.

if you wanted to go elemental then imo paladin is best as it has aura of censure with a very easy to get medal that boosts aura of censure damage. The double RR of this combo if elemental helps if the build uses more then 1 elemental. Also it has less problems with resist and cc cause word of renewel addons fix those. And ya a self heal is always useful and inquis seal is great vs dot where the damage adds up slower so the dps abosrb helps there. Inquis also has no oa problem due to deadly aim and only needing 1 crit for it to proc and its a large % increase.

Demo syncerizes if you go fire or lighting though for lighting it needs specific gear, the clunkiness of mines though is one of the determining factors if you want to be demo as it is important for the RR, but most other moves are use one and forget so its easier to maintain if you can handle the mines. Lotsa builds like EoR and Shield throw are really good if this combo

warlord is ideal if you want to go phys. Since many of the newer phys devotions boost resists and in general oath has the best way of reducing phys resists, this one will work out even if you dont do overguard. It can do EoR pretty well and even other typical builds.

from what i noticed for oppressor, there are viable EoR builds, and drain tank builds. It depends on what you want though esp since necro in general has massive lifesteal.

I usually go with Necro somewhere in it but wanted to try something new I had a very successful Oppressor. I'll admit I was never a fan of the mines on demo.

Alright so lets say I decide to go Paladin which by now I likely will just because I've always liked Paladin's (and oddly enough necro/dark magic weird that I like things on both ends) heh anyway what would be some good skill's that would add to my survivability at the early to mid game level?

Inquisitor Seal

Anything else? I typically find those start wearing off for anything outside of dot around 50 which I'm getting close to.

Word of Renewal and Presence of Virtue give health and defensive ability (+ stuff), Aura of Censure amongst other things also reduces enemy damage and although I've never used it, I guess Horn of Gandarr is also pretty useful against waves of enemies.

Word of Pain has chance for Impaired Aim, but I haven't seen that one in action either.
