Controller and Resolution ?
I really prefer playing anything with a controller due to some nerve issues in my grabbers, but I can't play this one? Like how is it that the controller is tied to the resolution? It's really odd, is there any way around it maybe?

They just "updated" the game, destroying the controller support. For sure it wasn't playtested since nothing seems to work...

Yeah controller support is gone since this update. Honestly would recommend refunding if still possible, since it's very obvious controller users are third world citizens to this company.

It was like this before the update for me, it just says that my resolution doesn't support the controller.

Third world citizens...wow...

We add controller support and keep updating it patch after patch where most developers don't bother at all and you have the gall to come in here and say that.

Chill out, we've already addressed some issues and more fixes are on the way. Or is hotfixing the day of a patch also considered "very obvious that we don't care".

And the resolution thingie? Is there a way around it that lets me play with the controller with my preferred resolution?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Welcome to Grim Dawn, whose game engine was made for and used by one other game, known as Titan Quest. This engine was developed in the years leading up to Titan Quests release in 2006.

It has plenty of quirks and oddities such as this but it was also built for dual masteries. In the years since Crate got their hands on it, it is no longer quite the same engine but they do what they can with a game engine originally built in a different era of hardware capabilities.

I play on 720p and the game also tells me that the resolution is to low. But the only problem with this is the size of ui elements like the inventory which can be mitigated by reducing the ui-scaling. So if you scale back the ui size you should be fine, at least at 720p...

You sound like you've been handed everything to you on a silver platter your whole life. How pathetic can you be to compare a company that ACTIVELY SUPPORTS THEIR CUSTOMERS to something as depressing and downtrodden as third world citizens.. Man, you need a slap upside the head for that one. How dare you.
