How to Change my Spawn Point

Sometimes the game spawns me at the weirdest town. What does it use to determine where to spawn me, so I can make it spawn me where I want it to do so?

Try visiting your stash and moving a few items back and forth between backpack and stash in the town you want to spawn in before exiting to the menu.

I've tried selling, buying, moving stuff in the bank, I still keep spawning at the desert town instead of the Steelcap district when I die in the Fleshworks.

Hmm, I thought it would be related to auto-save and you might be able to "force" an auto-save at a location by doing that sort of thing and thus set the spawn point there. I guess not.

Unfortunately, Steelcap District is not a "hub" you can spawn at after starting a new session. Devil's Crossing, Homestead, Fort Ikon, Coven's Refuge, Malmouth Sewers, Conclave of the Three & Vanguard of the Three are the only "hubs" that can be used as spawn locations. At least that I can recall.

You'd be correct, & each "town" has a trigger, when your character touches that trigger that's the settlement you'll spawn at when you reload your game.

Tried everything mentioned in this thread. I have no clue how to STOP spawning in the Conclave of the Three.

No matter where I die from malmouth to devils crossing to bastion of chaos I always spawn (Revive) at Conclave of the Three.

This has been this way over 2 sessions for 20+ hours doing *only* vanilla and malmouth quests.

How do I make stop and just spawn me at the last hub I used my stash, got quests from, adventuring near, etc?

I have so far did 0 quests in Korvan Basin and, visited there once at level 25 for the Rift Gate (I am now level 74). So the last 50 levels I always Revive there. Always. Is there something in the config files I can change to sop this?

I have had this game for years (4,200+ hours of play) and while it has done this before it has "cleared" up after a short while but now it forces to always spawn in Conclave.

Try running in and out of DC's prison a few times then exit the game. You should run over the trigger point there doing that.

...unfortunatly I think something is wrong [with the lvl 74]. Just tried this [again] and still not triggering.

With that said I did just try this with another character, that I'm not currently playing, bound to Fort Ikon and it worked--that character is now bound to DC.

Oh well, just all the map grab-n-scrolling is getting tiresome. Perhaps I shouldn't die... lol

Ultimatly I asked only because this is not normal.

Are you sure its trigger points? Because I've just been using the rift gate in the town I want to respawn at. Seems to be last respawnable town gate warped out from is the one you respawn from, at least that's the way its been working for me all this time.

Yes
Spawned in Devil Crossing, took a rift to Fort Ikon, then again to the Domain
Exited to the main menu then loaded again, spawned at DC
I did a test with visiting the command center at the Fort Ikon, and then I spawned there
Will try the Domain well
Edit: Yep, spawned at the Domain after visiting the well

Just a double-check since I tried it myself before forwarding it to here
