Question about Markovian's Advantage / Righteous Fervor
Hello guys,

I'm playing Oathkeeper + Soldier and I'm currently level 52. So far I've put all my skill points to Oathkeeper and now I'm getting to Soldier skill tree. I play auto attack build, so my main skill is Righetous Fervor supported by passives like Smite, Shattering Smash etc.
I think that Markovian's Advantage would definitely helped my play style, but I¨m quite confused how it works, because the skill info says: "Can activate with all default weapon attacks." Does it mean that it won't work for me, because I use Righteous Fervor as my default weapon attack?

Can somebody explain it to me please? And do you have any recommendation for other skills I should pick?

Thank you ;-)

As Soldier, "Field Command" is a must, and almost all below (passives, such as, Scars of Battle, Military Training, Decorated Soldier, Fighting Spirit).

But regarding to your question, "Righteous Fervor" is a DWA (default weapon attack) and will activate all passives which do activate with it. So in your case, "Markovian's Advantage" will activate just like "Smite".

I used to think like this too, but it turned out not to be true.

Why? So, there is this grey sword (indicating as "Weapon Attack")

"Cadence", "Fire Strike", "Savagery", "Righteous Fervor", "Troll Rage" (from Mistborn talisman), "Beronath's Fury" (from Shard of Beronath component), "Belgothian's Strikes" (from Belgothian's set), "Runic Bolts" (from Runbinder's 2-handed ranged weapon), "Fleshwarped Strikes" (from green scepter, Heart of Theodin Marcell), "Touch of Chaos" (from Rah'Zin's set).

All these can easily replace your "Weapon Attack", making those skill activate as they describe themselves.
