A Sisters gift quest is bugged?

I am playing on elite difficulty and can't kill Milton Hart .When his hp drops to 1/3 health bar he heals himself to almost full health.He does this over and over. Is there anything I can do?

as i said several times i chose a tanky build, i knew going in its not gonna be a dps freak .im doing fine . and as i said my next toon i roll will be a ranged dps. im sure the dps will be much higher for your satisfaction and mine... relax and read between the lines lol... all good

Dont sweat it most of us had subpar toons the first few times as long as your having fun have at it. For warlord I advise looking into a retaliation build some people find it boring but if your into S&B tanky builds it can be a lot of fun built right and warlord are one of the best class combos for it.

I figured I needed to smash him faster after awhile.. I switched to 2 hander and got him down in 1 try. Just thought it was a bug at 1st... didnt have issues in normal or veteran modes.

That's why I like the increased difficulty levels... I can see what I need to focus on going forward... I am a bit too tanky for elite difficulty.. just going to focus on finishing elite and then focus on rep with faction vendors for better augmentation pots and gear to help me get thru HC

ok had the same problem with retaliation warlord 1h + shield, but figured out how to do this, maybe will help someoen in the future.

max out 'break morale' skill, its addon to 'war cry' for Soldier tree. What it gives, it disrupts all targets skill for 6.5 second.

So lower his life close to the trigger zone of menhir's will , and use war cry - now u have 6.5 second to dmg him below his trigger point.its not hard if u time it correctly, u only need like 1 dmg below the point. If u make it, this passive is no longer usefull for him, unless u F up on the 2nd trigger point, which leads us to the next matter:

In fact he has 2 trigger zones, both seem to be 30 second cooldown.

first - when u see his health bar, and AETHER CORRUPTION name - its on the second E in Aether word.
second - is right before A letter in the Aether word.

what is important, if u miss the A letter trigger zone, he only restores to half of his hp, so you can easily break his first trigger zone on E letter again in time before it activates. How I understand it, is that if he activates stage 2 healing, his stage 1 healing is also on cooldown.

i know this is old, but i was looking for something on this because i am having issues with him on a grasping vines/word of pain build. his reset is happening at the same point every time. it is not a timer. that 60sec cool down is not triggering. there's no 30sec cool down either. it is at the 33% threshold. i can't take him past that point. my weapon DPS is crap because I am building up vines and pain, which literally handles everything else like a hot knife through butter. only the heroes require kiting. but ol Milt...his health just keeps resetting. i never had this issue with any face tank build. this whole fight should be about 30sec til his death.

so what i am reading here sounds like you have to hit him hard enough that you don't land in the 33% zone? then his health won't trigger? because this is definitely a problem if his health restore is supposed to have a cool down.

i am not level 30 yet. I finally got him after I got about five levels ahead. So there is a measure of a cool down. Maybe 2 or 3 sec. Definitely not the 60 listed on grimtools.

Just killed this npc in ultimate. Took me 5-10 minutes...
