Launch Issue = " Couldn't initialize Graphics Engine"

Now got a fatal error Mesage = " Couldn't initialize Graphics Engine"
Anyone can help ?

Go here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe

Run the DXSETUP.exe and try again.

One way or the other it's a drivertype-related issue. For some reinstalling the DX files works, for others - like so: https://steamcommunity.com/app/219990/discussions/0/405690850600744370

The other possibility is your C++ Redistributables in this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist

You will see a handful of folders, named by years. You can go into each in turn and reinstall first the x86 versions and then the x64 versions, in that order - and see if it helps.

Then the only thing that remains is 3rd Party Antivirus program interference. If you haven't already - whitelist/exclude ALL Grim Dawn related folders from your AV's scans. If that fails then I'm all out of ideas for ya.

heres my fix besides what you all said. go lo GD local files and delete Direct3d11.dll merry christmass

Just be aware that you will have to delete this file again after any game update. You can also add /d3d9 to your launch options for the game in GD's Steam Properties to achieve the same result.
