No i don't think it would work very well without drastic changes.

With this you have a heavy focus on fire damage and only picking up some passive things from Shaman to boost your ability to survive and some damage increase. Most of the points have gone into Demo for its nice mix of offense and defensive skills. I did not put in any components or augments so you can experiment with that to get your resistances to max.
It was a rush job and probably needs tweaks, but I'm pretty sure it'd handle ultimate.
I think you should always get the mutator for bwc (high potency)
Do you think I could get those items as solo self found? Also how would you level it? What I mean is which skills would you raise first every 10 levels or so?
I would level with transmuted bwc, but you can level with fire strike as long as you keep explosive strike at 12/12. It's slower though. You can get anything SSF but it takes time. That's why i would just use bwc as a main skill since it works wonders even without bis gear. Weapon damage based builds are usually gonna take a bit more gear to be effective.
Yes, this, exactly. For leveling, you don't want your performance to be tied to your weapon since you won't always have a good weapon. I love % weapon damage for the end game (maybe a bit too much ^^;) because by then you have the option to pick up powerful weapons, but during levelling you should really look for skills that can perform regardless of what you have equipped in the weapon slot.
Just as the people above have already said leveling with BWC would be the way to go because of it's lack of reliance on a good weapon. As for the gear, yes you can find them as solo self found. You will just need to farm the rogue-like dungeons and bosses for the legendary gear. Also you will need to find the blueprint for the boots and just get lucky with the affixes. However keep an eye on those affixes once Crate drops the next patch as they have said that they are buffing the older affixes a considerable amount.

Just reload the game a few times until you get high rolls on the attack speed and fire bonus. It should be enough to get you up to level 65 or so.
