Secrets of the Lost - (unstucked)

Stuck on this quest. Looked up on the wiki & youtube & it doesn't make any sense to me.

I need to find some guy on some steps somehwere. I'm at the right location according to the wiki & from the video I found it looks like the same area.

Gone through the whole area twice & there is no guy anywhere I can see that I need to speak to nor is there any door that requires the skeleton key (which I have crafted already).

This game really needs to have markers like Torchlight 2 or something. What do I need to do or where do I go?

You need to go to the Steps of Torment, which is nowhere near Fort Ikon. The guy you need is on level 4. It's a rogue-like dungeon, and you will need to craft a skeleton key in otder to be able to access the fourth level.

Note: Avoid the Death chamber on 4, it's a killer.

Steps of torment is in broken hills to the southeast of the map area.

Now you need to do Bastion of chaos and port valebury, both are much longer and harder you should enjoy them.

Shrines in game are much easier to find than crucible
