You can keep friendly relations with most human factions, but there are a couple of exceptions. Death's Vigil and Kymon's Chosen hate each other. You can refuse to join either one, but if you do enlist with one of them, the other automatically becomes your enemy and will attack you on sight.
Note: Necromancers cannot join Kymon's Chosen.
Likewise, the Legion hates the Outcast. However, she doesn't turn against you if you do bounties for the Legion, so it is possible to keep up good relations with both, if you do a bit of a balancing act. Do a task for the Outcast and you lose rep with the Legion, but you can then do 2 bounties for the Legion and you will make up the lost ground and even gain some rep with them.
I'm only about halfway through the expansion, so I am not quite sure what's the story with relations between the Coven and Barrowholm. The Coven so far seems neutral, but Barrowholm has just asked me to assassintate a specific witch. Have to see how that plays out, but I suspect the Coven will be less than pleased if I do this task. Also, I get weird vibes from the Barrowholm leaders.

You will find out more details when your first Nemesis comes after you.
The game is good as it is, but i really wanted to go with the bad guys.
