Level requirement from 18 to 50
Transcendent: More powerful than Empowered, better stats or skills, mat for higher relics
Level requirement from 35 to 50
Mythic: End game, best stats/skills, better completion bonuses, and you guessed it, mats
Level requirement from 60 to 70
A good relic for pet builds at 55 before killing for days on mythic mats is Savage, which is a transcendent relic. Has pet bonuses, if you wish to keep boosting your pets (which I suggest if you are pet heavy).
Then move into Bysmiel's Domination mythic as the end game (I don't like the passive on Primal Instinct, and you aren't playing a shaman).
As for using your mats to craft helpful items, paying attention to your resistances is something that you will have to do very shortly once you get further into Elite if you aren't having problems thus far. You pick up components, group them into higher tier components, then craft the final tier of component. These you take and add with augments to make yourself resistant/tanky enough to survive what the game has to throw at you.
Edit: Sorry, didn't see Anathema had responded.

Oh ♥♥♥♥, I didn't know there was a 90 set. Gonna need to look in to that..
My Reaper's still using Deathchill, because the next one up (Scourge? I believe; the only one I've found with similar itemization anyway) isn't that good in my opinion. At least not for me; on-hit effects are amazing with auras.
Thank you, I did not know.
