Is there still an option to revive dead Hardcore char?
The topic says it all. Played long time ago, only on Hardcore, was able to revive easily after registry change and later with trainers. Is this option still in the game? Or game have changed and no trainers nor registry can be changed to avoid permadeath hardcore changes?

You do know trainers are pretty much a thing made to cheat with?, and is quite the odd question to throw out there, hardcord is meant to be perma death when you mess up is just that simple if you do anything else it is not intended by the creators to have you do so. And there never was anything in game to do so.

I lost my lvl 80 charcter yesterday as well to Valdaran but I know that this is literally the purpose of hardcore, the ultimate punish of death. Why not just play softcore if you can't accept permadeath?

What's the point of Hardcore if you're just going to revive?

I was just curious, if there is still that option available. because all other games do not have revive hardcore option(even if its by registry). Thought devs made somehow locked main game files changing just wanted to know that, because when I learned to revive - I left the game and deleted content

Still they never had that by default that you could res a hardcore it was always perma death from the start. So if you revived you most likley downloaded a program to do so that the creators never even was part of making.

Dont really understand the point of playing hardcore if it is to play softcore with added burden.

Unless it is to try to impress others with false feats.

But others dont care and you cant even lie to yourself, as you know 100% well your revived 'hardcore' character is a fake.

Saves management is your best friend then... Just copy your saves as often as you can so you'll be able to revert in case of death.

Or you know just play softcore???

Lol. You guys realize what he just said here right?

He just blamed the game for letting him "cheat". He's one of those people who have no self control and then blames the game for that lack of self-control.

Classic! People get me every time.

If you're the sort of person who would revive a hardcore character - why play on HC in the first place?

To get an unwarranted achievement? To lie to others about how you completed *a game*?

Sounds like TC prefers scrubcore to me.

Without on-server only saves 'for sure true' hardcore achivements wont ever be possible. Simple save backup (that is anyway a good idea if you want your data safe from system ---ups) can be used to emule softcore char with hardcore lable.
If you are playing for yourself though, you could play permadeath even if Hardcore option wasnt in.
