question about selling loot
i just found a decent bow with nice stats, regardless of what im selling i dont get very much for my items so im wondering if im selling to the wrong merchant or thats just how the game works. Also i just got to wightmare so i know im not very far but i just feel like im getting shafted by this merchant. Any input would be much appreciated!

You're not selling to the wrong guy, you're just selling the wrong things. You'll only ever get any kind of payoff from selling yellows and up in bulk - a single sale will hardly ever get you more than a few thousand iron bits. So yes, the game just doesn't give you very much money for selling loot, unlike most games of this type.

If you just got to Wightmire, what are you by now, level4 or 5? And now you expect to make tons of cash? Com'on man!!

You will have cash flow problems for awhile yet. Just grab everything and sell it, equippping the best stuff and save save save.

You will be doing this abit until you got some gear saved up in your private stash and gotten your extra tabs paid for.

You cant expect the world in your first hour....

Yeah, unlike Titan Quest, money does not drop from the sky all around you. You actually have to farm for gear to sell. but it feels much more balanced for such a dark, post-apocalyptic game= to me, atleast. Gold was too easy in all of the TQ versions. Iron in GD... the world is devatstated. You actually have to go out and work for things. Which is a good thing IMHO.

YMMV.

You also don't need to buy anything, besides potions maybe, until higher difficulties. you level so fast and move through gear so quick that I find it hardly worth the time to buy enchantments.

Yes even now. They changed Diablo into Smash TV, Smash TV is a fun game and so is D3 but it isn't D2 or even close to how great that game is.

This game isnt d2 either not even close.

D3 is better though than this game.

where have you popped from suddenly in multiple threads extoling the virtues of D3 at every opportunity. Odd your not playing D3 rather than posting on another games forum about how good it is ?

This game will never beat D2 no arpg will the time and era was perfect for it when it released, but ask me if id rather play this or d2 and its this every time, its just a deeper game tbh, it wont ever capture that magic but technically its a better game.

D3 however while fun in a brainless button mashing way is nothing like this game or any other arpg, maybe thats a good thing choice is always good, but for those of us who loved D2 and TQ and like a bit of depth to arpgs this is the best on the market closely followed by POE

Odd your not playing grim dawn... But doesnt matter.

Facts are facts and this game is generic and mediocre at best.

I responded to someone talking ♥♥♥♥ about a game and responded. Mommy doesnt need to defend the op :)

How pathetic, lol! You came here 7 months later to make sure everyone hears your totally edgy feedback about a game you claim not to care about? LOL!

A minor side note, since it was mentioned. The cash flow in TQ is somewhat higher, but this is offset by the rather high costs of the better gear. You can amass 300,000 or so, only to blow it all on one item.

I remember when I made my first Transcendent relic... when I finally manged to get all components (including all lower-tier relics, a Kilrian's soul, etc)... I has so little money left, I didn't have one tenth of what it would have cost me to create the actual relic. :steamsad: But now I have so much money I have no idea what to do with it anymore (and I still continue to pick up and sell greens nonetheless).
