Exalted stash = one shot chest?
Can someone confirm the above? I just want to make sure that chars under 50 don't open the one shot chests...I take it ornate strongboxes are free pickings. Thanks.

First, yes, Exalted Stash are One-Shot chests, secondly, One-Shot Chests are scaled to the area's level, not the player's level. Opening a One-Shot Chest in a level 10 area with a level 85 Character still yield a level 10 epic.

Thirdly, One-Shot Chests in Normal/Veteran NEVER drop Legendaries. So if you are hoping to score yourself a bunch of Legendaries by openning all the chests at once once you reach level 50 - no.

Was this a recent change, i could have sworn i've gotten them From Log. as long as i was around 50ish when i fought him for the first ime. not 100% but i think they "Can" drop.

I think it is that purples can drop from chests in areas that are above level fifty, it's just that the only areas in the game that are above level fifty on normal mode are the roguelike dungeons and the Loghorrean's arena.

Indeed they are his death loot basically, as he doesnt drop a hero stash in the normal way other mobs do, and they always exist whenever you kill him.
