This is what confuses me: when aetherial dudes hit you in melee, they hit you with aether or with brute force (physical damage)?
It's not the just melee dmg you need to worry about but all the auras, persistent ground attacks, and aether clouds that float about in vast numbers. I'd also look at raising your HP a few thousand more as well.
Yeah, I thought of it already. Not sure, what to lower to free some attribute points - cunning or spirit.
Edit: Since your equips shouldn't need spirit (Unless there is a specifc accessory you need), that's the first I'd drop then cap off cunning at say 20 since you are mostly modified elemental damage (could be wrong on this).
Yes, I played with pure demo first, but then I decided to select the second class, because I maxed out every line I wanted to max in Demo. So basically yes, Inquisitor is just a nice addition to pure Demo :-)
But maybe you're right and I'll respec all points and try to spend them differently, putting more to some useful Inquisitor skills. Never had such issues before AoM, was killling everyone in the base game, mostly 1-shot kills.
Edit: I don't want to paste others builds so I won't, but I did just notice your devotion is in Kraken, which doesn't affect your character at all. (2h melee or 2h ranged only), it's worded poorly but the ranged is 2h required as well.
What exactly do you mean by that?
I mean that if you plan on moving on to ultimate with this character that is when I'd respec (beginning of new game on ultimate). If it's just the resistance that caused the issue, there is no use to do so now if you can finish without some other hindrance popping up if you did respec. Respec'ing to spread your points (50/50 level) to each class will increase your survivability.
It is probably time to lean back and start thinking - what do you want to do with this character? What do you want to focus on? You're currently dealing Physical, Pierce, Fire, Cold, Lightning, and Aether damage - time to cut that down a little and get some resist reduction. Look into the higher-requirement constellations for things you might be interested in (of the damage type(s) you decide to go with) and rearrange things to start working towards them while getting rid of stuff that doesn't help you much. Do the same for your equipment. (Flames of Wrath and the Demonbone Legplates are legendaries - but are they really helping? Could you replace some things with greens or faction vendor gear that might be better?)
You might consider looking around at some Purifier build guides to see what they do. They'll likely recommend gear you don't have but if the guide is good it should still suggest things you might try. You might also find a guide that has recommended gear for lower levels.
btw your pistols augments don't work for you, it's for pets only
