Help with Components and blueprints? (Where to find)
This build looked fun and viable and is helping me understand the different game mechanics a bit better and the flow of the game compared to like PoE or old Diablo: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52815

Thing is I am about to hit 25 and while I have the bp for Mistborn Talisman, I don't have the Vitriolic Gallstone or Severed Claw, nor have ever possessed such, which is kind of a problem as I don't have the Blueprint for Omen yet either.

I have a level 38 Warder and am feeling my way through atm, using Savagery and trying and (mostly) succeeding at draintanking my way through most things with the help of wendigo totem.

I have also noticed a potential problem with my leveling since I'm currently 38 just coming out of Smugglers Pass, and 23 on my character just having finished off the Warden. And yet I've noticed a lot of people seem to have much more in the way of devotions by this time. The guide is calling for me to farm Cronley a bit for rings at 25, yet that's an entire act further. I'm wondering how my xp got so inflated, if it's because of being on Veteran or if it's just because of the flow of the game changing over time. I'm a very methodical and perfectionistic player so I tend to clear nearly everything.

Also if someone would be willing to pop into voice I could steam stream my game and potentially have some advice with my Warder. I just finished changing around a few things and am headed into the Vulture devotion just to try to get some of the rarer resists which are giving me some trouble sometimes, especially bleed. But otherwise, any and all help is appreciated.

To start with, Vitriolic Gallstone and Severed Claw are crafted only and will not drop from enemies. Check with a blacksmith to craft them. For your level, I usually beat the Warden at level 19. It means you explored a bit and ground a little more than you needed to, but it's fine and will cause you no problems. As for devotions, I remember there being a good Steam guide for that. You should check it out. To get an idea of how you are doing, there are a total of 28 shrines on Normal/Veteran (33 with the expansion).

Hey, thanks a bunch. I love exploring in games, so. I have the expansion. I will also look for the guide.

With the recent changes to the base game that came when the AoM expansion was released, the xp does seem to go faster (especially on veteran). Older leveling guides may not match up with where you would be in the story progression at any given level.

Some of the component recipes can be purchased from the different factions when you get high enough reputation with them, while others must be found as random drops from enemies and chests. Treasure Troves (chests that require dynamite to open) have a slightly higher chance to drop recipes, so hunting them down can be beneficial when looking for recipes/blueprints.

A quick search through the Grim Tools database [www.grimtools.com] seems to list both the Vitriolic Gallstone and Severed Claw as random drops, not from faction reputation.

For a completionist your leveling is normal to beat the Warden around 25. The level 38 character sounds just a little further behind tho coming out of Smugglers Pass but it's nothing to worry about. Likely the person whose guide you are following was more a rusher than a completionist.

I'm not following a guide for my Warder. I'm doing it on my own. So far I'm fairly certain I've gotten all the side areas, so I'm not quite sure. The only thing I haven't been able to do is the Skeleton key area. Or rather completed... Because I did 99% of it, just died to the final guy.

Use a Hoarfrost Ointment and anything that gives you buffs to your Cold resists and/or Pierce etc just before you fight him.

Oh I know now. But I'm going into everything in this game blind. Out of all my basic resists at the time, my cold was low. Ironically, if he'd been fire I woulda been fine due to my at the time maxed fire resist.
