Sahdina's Memento [Spoiler warning]

Hey there, I'm just trying to get to the new secret boss. I got every step (on ultimate) so did the quest for the stash, got the stormhearth and the hearth of darkness. even got the blue zed to go to the ritual site.....aaaaand then i tried to get the memento....and nothing. it simply never appears there. I'm sure that its not working, because i tried to go there with several chars. it worked with none of em.

any suggestion/help or tips?

it was veeeery easy to miss
because 2 things

1 (like me) you might have accidentally stumbled close enough to the hulk thingy earlier in game on Ultimate, and then because it's just a "trash" green item, you thought nothing of it and vendored/salvaged it, and got rid of it that way

or 2. you actually somehow didn't manage to stand at teh "right" spot so amulet didn't unlock

(i'm leaning more towards nr1 because it happened multiple times for me, -just auto got it on start of expansion and didn't think anything of it and trashed it, didn't even notice until actually going for teh q, that teh "text on screen" might have been important lol)

point is, i played a char to that point. Fresh. nothing popped up....?

i still have some pre addon 85 chars so i can test again. but....repeating the same thing doesnt seem to hold much promise to me?

i mean, when i discovered my mistake, i got it instantly on other char by going close at teh right spot
it super easy to miss when the game handed it to you "earlier" and then accidentally trash it...
the memento doesn't spawn "after" secret q, it literally spawns at the very beginning of expansion, before all the rest of steps, not later (at least not for me) so had to "get it then", right at teh beginning

as i said. i just tested it AGAIN. old pre addon char on level 85. started addon. going in there. nothing.

edit, don't got any ready/close enough to test in time now, will have to be a little later (need to run the final q's)

i'd be grateful. As i said. just now i tried again. nothing. I'm simply puzzled :/ a confirmation from you would help me i a lot :)

i gotta sort some stuff irl, then i'll get back and finish up whats missing on my toons to access expansion and see if mine bugs out now too, i'll post when i find out how memento behaves for me/other toons

alright, got it with 0 issue, just like the other times,
started expansion at fort ikon, (talked to creed, got q, then lady got her q) ported to devils crossing went to spot, and it got put in my inventory as suual when text/notification appeard on screen
whether or not it a bunch other specific prerequisites than just starting expansion i don't know (tho i seriously doubt it since i've done stuff differently on diff toons)

which would suggest that the second option would be true. that i would be at the wrong "point" although...there is not much to miss there, right? i was walking around a bit but nothing...? its strange tbh...Oo

well, you gotta sorta crawl up it's bum lol
unsure how close or specific you have to get, but i always get it there
ports to DC and runs straight up its keester/between legs

you get no message at all when going near it on ultimate?
and there is no necklace/medal (can't rem which) in your inventory at all?

i got no idea what could "break" an event like that.. maybe try running the repair tool? maybe something, or maybe your char file, is slightly corrupted/"old"-"expired"? or something (i'm just randomly tossing out stray thoughts at this point lol)

lol makes me wanna test 1 more, it's so weird...

Yeah i got nothing. Not message, no Item. Testen on 3 Chars now. I'm not sure what happened. i guess i might run the repair tool.
