Binding passive abilities to devotion skills
I am playing a pure summon necromancer, and wanted to know, how binding "Call of the grave" or similar passive abilities(that have to be triggered by me) interact with devotion skills like "Giant's Blood"? Another example is "master of death" is always enabled, what does it mean to bind it to a skill?

Skills that have to be activated can only trigger the devotion while the skill is active. This is why it is better to bind devotion skills to toggle skills like Master of Death, because the skill will always be available then.

If you dont have it binded to a skill you can not use it.

That does not answer my question. I want to know, if you bind master of death to Giant's Blood, does this mean that you get the bonus 15% of the time you or you minions get hit while it is active? Or does it only trigger when I am hit? Or does it even work in another way?
When you are hit. Binding a devotion skill to a skill activates it. How it actually works/activates depends on the actual devotion skill itself. Some are like normal skills you can now assign to your skill bar/left/right mouse click. Some activate on a % of attacks, and it will only activate on the skill you bound it to. Some activate on a % of being hit, and are always active as long as you bound it to a skill.
It will only trigger when you are hit, and it will only heal you. To get a group heal that affects your pets, take Healing Rain in the Tree of Life constellation. It still will only trigger when you are hit, though.

Thx you
There is at least one caveat to that. Will of Rattosh is a % on attack skill, but if you bind it the Skeletons, for instance, their attacks can actually proc the effect. I'm not sure what other devotion skills this behavior (if any) also applies to.

Any devotion that is assigned to a summon procs by and the summon. Anything that not assigned to a summon is self only.
