Necromancer summons question!!
1) Are skeleton summons considered as pets like the blight fiend is?
2) Does pet bonuses apply to them as well? if so, how come their health bar dont show up on the top left corner of the screen?

BTW: It would be helpfull to see their health bar somewhere, as when there is a lot of ennemies on screen, it is hard to see where the skeletons are at (most of the time dead and need respawn!)

1. Yes.
2. Yes. Because you can get like 10+ of them at the same time and it would be too much screen clutter. Their buff icon has the number of skeletons you have out on it, so if the number drops you can see right away when you need to resummon.

If you'd look at the summon skeletons description, it already says yes to both of your questions. And I agree on the health bars, I'd also like to see stats on the other kinds of skeletons too.

I wish they did have their icon on the top of the screen like most other summons so I can set their behavior to aggressive.

i think it's better to have normal pet status for skeleton (left side screen)
but only display number and/or average health
also aaa (xxx/yyy) for number
aaa for total number, xxx for melee skeleton and yyy for ranged

because in small corner, sometimes i miss seeing it
and just out of nowhere they're all dead

btw if dev reading this, why is ranged skeleton so DUMB?
why cant they just go and attack enemies like melee ones?
it's even worse because there's no option for agressive/defensive stance

Dev already said ranged skeleton AI will be fixed to act more like melee skeleton in the next patch.

Me too. You can't set them to aggressive. I think that's why their aggro range is absolute crap. Even when the melee skeletons finally attack, the crossbow/nage skeletons won't even attack unless I get even closer to the mobs and risk getting attacks even more.

They need to fix the aggro range too cause it's absolute crap.

That's what I meant. They are fixing their agro range.

Would be nice to have one icon representing all of the skeletons, with a column of small health bars attached so you know if any are close to dying or whatever, so you could toss out a pet heal or something.

Id like:
- average health Skeleton Fighters / Archers, #number
- average health Skeleton Mages, #number
- agressive combat behaviour by default or with one button for all pets
- faster skeleton run speed, they currently cannot keep pace

I was curious about the East Marsh area, so i went and unlocked. Im a level 25 necro, the enemies are around Level 35+, its a challenge, tough fight, but i leveled the area.

I don't much care about what type of icon(s) skeletons get as long as they get moved up with other summons. Keeping track of how many skeletons you have in a tense situation gets tricky with 9 or 10 auras, 3 or 4 active buffs, and a couple of on hit effects all having icons shifting around with your skeleton icon. If skeletons were with the other pets it would be much easier to manage them. Being able to set their AI would be nice as well.

I'd much prefer the game simply remembered the settings you picked for your pets. Aggressive is not always the best (even if it usually is). The game saving your pet settings (in your character data or something) would make the game less tedious for everyone, and that means everyone is happy.
