Yuh, but those recipes can be easily farm. Best place to farm recipe is either Treasure Trove that requires dynamite to open, or Hallowed Hill in Burrwitch Estates.

Purified salt is just a component that drops from random mods although it is fairly rare. You don't need a recipe for this. Just Google the two things and read the gamepedia page on them.

Gamepedia is terrible at looking for things. http://www.grimtools.com is what you need. You can see many common components do require recipes, it's just once you've learned, it shares accross all chars, so it's easily mistook that they are there by default.

i went on the site and it does tell you anything about to obtain thee items ?

Those recipes dont belong to any faction, so you will have farm those by killing mobs, open chests, or complete bounties.
