Dynamite, Tainted Brains, and Crystals Oh My---->Stonerend Quarry

Greetings all,
Just thought I would share a good route to do a quick farm for dynamite if you are low on mats, or just want gather materials and stockpile them. The path is rather simple to reach. Portal to Blood Grove---->Follow the wagon tracks(road) northeast---->Take a right when you see the crystal area on your map (Stonerend Quarry)---->Clean it out.

-2 Dynamites per run.
-Tons of Aether Clusters (dynamite mats!) (ones that aren't a pain to gather...relative to decent health)
-One unique boss, and the possbility of at least two hero spawns.
-Occassional Tainted Brain

The clear can be pretty quick depending on your setup, but I find runs take just a few mins, then rinse and repeat. I have had a legendary drop here and there so that is a bonus...though I know there are better areas to farm for the purps.

If you want to kill another unique boss in the semi-relavite area that gives +75 Rover faction, you can go into the The Bone Cave at Morton's Claim...though it is bit out of the way. I have only tried this farm on Veteran/Elite don't have a basis for the area on Ultimate. Anyhow, hope this helps!

**If you want to add even more farming into the mix, there are a few areas southeast of the portal that Cthonic can spawn, including Bolvar, The Bloodbinder who can drop Blood of Ch'thon as well as Epic/Legendaries. In the portal, Ashen Waste there is a Treasure Trove you can farm with Dynamite. Lastly, if you are of Nemesis faction, sometimes Benn'Jhar, the Colossal can spawn in The Blood Grove.

Yeah, well, thanks for the time spent on working this out, yet it is easier to acquire Aether Crystals by following this route:

(1) Teleport to Lower Crossing, clear the outside area and the Burial Cave
(2) Teleport to the Secret Laboratory and clear the area backwards
(3) Rush to the room right before Warden Krieg and clear the area

You can get Tainted Brain Matter from the Warden and any hero you kill on the way, including Valdaran, if you have reached Nemesis status with the Aetherials.

In order to acquire dynamite other than by crafting, just run the Four Hills areas. There are several spots with guaranteed drops plus a lot of spots with a high chance of dropping dynamite. Money Bags Martin also drops at least one piece of dynamite.

These areas have the advantage that you don't have to deal with Aetherial ground effects.

I've run those routes as well....and yes, it is just as efficient, if not more so...this is just a different route and another decent way to acquire mats and a change in pace. And yeah, the Aetherial ground effects were pain for me in normal/vet, but now they are easy to deal with and super, super quick to clear. It is good to share more routes/ideas. Yeah, purely for aether crystals, burial cave area is great... and specific materials can be farmed in better ways, but I really do like these NE and SE of blood grove portal areas though because they give a great mix of important materials as well as some hero mobs and ♥♥♥♥. An overall great and fun route to run...

Port Valbury Outskirts has the most Aether Crystals. It's easy to load up there.
