Translucent/transparent/opaque map overlay like Diablo 2
Is there a way to turn on a translucent/transparent/opaque/see through map overlay like in Diablo 2?

Currently I can only open the map menu but this blocks about 60% of the screen which makes it rather impractical. In Diablo 2 you could toggle a map that was see through so you could see where you are going but still fight. Does something like this exist in Grim Dawn?

I take it that your vision is superb. I rarely find those useful unless the background is really basic, like Torchlight 2, (many areas). That was kind of a nifty feature the way it was set up. I'm guessing they wanted to stick with old-school maps as either thematically it fits or there just wasn't enough demand to make it worthwhile. Now that you mention it, I rarely ever see it in a game so I'm guessing there must be a compelling reason for such. Dunno.

No you can't unless there are mods for it, or you could ask for such a mod on official forums. I did use such a feature in D2 lod times.

Actually, it'd be really cool if the map on the top right hand corner, you could make 3 times larger or something.

However, I understand the concern, but the more you play Grim Dawn the less of a problem this becomes simply because the level design is a lot more friendly in regards of how to explore the area. Where as Diablo, since the levels were randomly generated, it was kinda forced to use the map.

I'd like the map to be revamped so cities/key locations are always labeled. As it is now you need to be close to several locations in order to see them. like the smith's in the wild for example.
