The Wind Devils are a lot of fun!
You can play the Druid build to 20/20 to get a feel for how it plays. If you don't like it by then, the gameplay doesn't change much so you can drop the build without investing more time.

Only need 1 point in base Wind Devil and 1 point in Frozen Core for the freeze modifier. As you can see the framework of the build is complete by level ~24 depending on what other skills you pick up along the way. You can use Ice Spike from Chilled Steel to help level and give you something to spam while waiting for Trozan's to come off cooldown.
Another fun build is Aether Ray converted to chaos damage with the Occultist mastery. It can be a bit tricky to balance offence, defense, and energy management but as long as you get everything in line that build is extremely powerful.
