DEvotion suggestions (sword n board savagery warder)

Could anyone recommend me a devotion setup for this b uild?

I didn't bother putting extra points in the calc, those are just what i'll be investing points into. Didn't go wind devil, because it's just not for me. It does do a good job of trash clearing when it cooperates, but it's just not for me, so figured Storm Totem for extra lightning.

The Wind Devil isn't really used for clearing trash as much as it is for the sweet elemental debuff, which means MOAR LIGHTNING POWAH. I reckon you won't really need one if you get the devotions right, though. Moving on:

It's a very rough guide and I haven't distributed all the points but I'd put points into: Tsunami, Tempest, Viper, Hawk, Owl, Scholar's Light, Behemoth (3 points per usual to get the Giant's Blood proc), Rhowan's Crown. Maybe add Revenant or Ghoul for lifesteal if you have enough affinity points. I wouldn't recommend going for the Spear of Heavens because it's hella expensive. Also, you might want to invest in some defences and some block procs (Autumn Boar, Targo the Builder, etc.). Hope it helps, cheers.

Also, if I have a devotion set to Overguard (don't atm), will it only proc if overguard is up? Or will it proc during downtime as well?

Only when the buff is up as far as I'm concerned. I'd try to bind it to Mogdrogen's Pact, Field Command or some other skill that you only need to activate once per session.

Yeah, i figured so. I have my 3 1 time buffs filled up now, but had a few spare points, thought about another proc. Went with viper, hawk, tempest, tsunami, targo the builder, anvil, crab, 3pt behemoth, crane, and leftover pts into shieldmaiden for some better blocks.

Only have 1 piece of my desired end-game gear atm, but still in elite. almost done with it though.
