Grim Dawn not responding

My game is not responding when I go to launch the game. The screen stays black. I know about the new DLC that just came out. Do I need the DLC to play the game or is there something I missed? Havent played in a few weeks.

There hasn't been any dlc released for quite awhile now and I don't even think there has been a recent patch.

1) Wait 5 or so minutes. If it doesn't start by then it probably won't.

2) Failing that, if you have an antivirus add GD's install AND save folder paths to its exclusions.

I have had the same issue ever since I got the game. The game works though if you let it load for a couple of minutes without clicking on the screen. It's a pain in the ass but it's the only way I've been able to play it.

I have the same black screen problem. Left it there anda fter 20 minutes nothing changed. Tryed deleting the options.ext file, changing upnpenable to false, running in directx9. But so far nothing helps
