No, it doesn't use denuvo you paranoid idiot.
Spider May 25, 2017 @ 10:03am
I laugh every time i see someone that hates denuvo. it literally means they are checking to see if the game is crackable or not. If it's not they get mad.

Lilith in particular is a serious conspiracy theorist about the whole thing. Should look at their topic about it on the RE7 board. Pure tinfoil hat insanity.

Seeing as you can buy it DRM-free on GOG[www.gog.com], what would you say the answer is?

LOL I can crack games even if it does have Denuvo, Im not concerned about that LMAO, and if not I know of people anonymously through the internet who crack games for Tribute.

That said I am more concerned about Privacy, and how Denuvo is Malicious to me I don't trust it as its 3rd party, Zero Support who responds to emails, already got hacked themselves.

Anyways thanks <3 prolly be buying a copy of this on steam then :3.

edit: oh and I don't mind DRM such as "Steam" "Origins" or DRM created by the developers / Publishers of games is fine "Denuvo" works for none of them just a 3rd party that sells the products to the developers of games.

edit: Just because a person can pirate, or crack games doesn't mean I don't legally purchase my games that do not have Denuvo, http://imgur.com/a/4p1EC This being said games such as Conan Exiles, Neir, or Tomb Raider the new one, or Mass Effect Andromeda, I don't feel bad for them if they go under or get pirated a lot its Fair game in my eyes because they use Denuvo, which I personally can't, and wont trust or support any game Using Denuvo with my wallet, this being said ( I Truly hope that in the future) Game Developers who decided to use Denvuo take a good look at how good it protects all the Top Games and how fast they get cracked and use those funds to make a better game instead or donate it to a charity who could use the help. And personally using a Crack from a Russian Hacker I trust more than having Denuvo create hidden files on my system.

edit: And its not just DRM I am at, its Anti-Cheats like "Xing Code" "Game Guard" "Hack Shield" which come from korea and often bundled with MMO Based games installing them on your pc without consent, Reputable Anti Cheats such as "Battleye" "Easy Anti Cheat" or "Punk Buster" for example or an Anti Cheat made by a game developer I am fine with.

Whatever the reason. They've been collecting data from us since the dawn of the internet. Why is it a huge deal now? If you aren't doing anything wrong, what's the issue?

Hey, only three edits. You must be taking your meds, Lilith.
Nine May 26, 2017 @ 12:39am
It does not have denovu. There is even a DRM free version available from gog if you are concerned with that.

*facepalm* I see the indoctrination goes smoothly :(

Now tell me, if you aren't doing anything wrong, why does your house have walls?

Cool, let me just setup this camera in your house since most crimes are commited at home. You're cool with that right, you've done nothing wrong right?

It's funny how these people can't tell it's not about ~20 bucks - it's about the future and the whole slew of problems people like you are reacting to. It's not conspiracy - it's conservatism. We shouldn't rush in like a bull in a china shop simply in the name of profit. We should be careful and consider the impact of all the "safety features".
