Controller compatibility?
Because I really don't want to play it with keyboard/mouse - is it possible? I have a microsoft controller which is really nice, I'd love to use it to play NiGHTS, childhood memories :,)

Yeah, I was using the Xbox 360 wireless controller and it played pretty good. If your using the wireless then you need the 360 controller wireless receiver as well witch can be bought here

If you have the wired xbox 360 it should work just as well. But reguardless of wich one you use you will need to install a driver threw windows update. This also goes for the Xbox One controller. Just plug in any of them into your computer and update, your rig should be able to use the controller after that, with the game.

Hope this helps :D:

It also works great with the Logitech F310 controller.

I just beat it this morning with an ancient Saitek P2500 that I found lying around in a drawer, so yeah, any controller that talks to Microsoft DirectX should work fine.

If not, you can use a program such as JoyToKey http://joytokey.net/en/ or XPadder http://xpadder.com/ (or similar alternatives) to map keyboard keys to buttons on your controller and the game can think that you're using a keyboard when you're using your controller.

Or if others have original Sega Saturn controllers that they want to play with, there are Saturn controller port to USB converters for sale on eBay etc. (The same goes for other systems, so if you always wanted to play NiGHTS with an N64 controller - it's totally possible.) There are also more expensive converters which allow you to plug in controllers from many different systems and convert them to USB such as the Bliss Box.

Um.. Batman? Without that reciever the wireless joystick won't work at all on the PC. Just saying.

Also I've updated everything and my controler still doesn't work.. :(
