The low poly Saturn mode is better for the game.
There is something more oniric, more "dreamlike" about the low poly and low fidelity look of the original Saturn game that is lost in the higher res and higher poly remaster.


Maybe the same reason I prefer PSX Klonoa over the remakes.

I am glad that they still put a recreation of the Saturn game in it, I would've been disappointed if we got stuck with the PS2 game.

The PC mode is way better especially with the 60fps mod in 4k, the saturn emulator looks better than the saturn mode in this game because of the texture filter so if you wanna play it like the original the emulator is better

There are currently mods on GameBanana that fix this, I'm super happy that they were created as the pixel art looks super crisp with it enabled!
