Wrong boss?

I was confused by the randomized boss option, but I looked up what was going on and turned that off. However, after I turned it off I replayed Spring Valley again and ended up fighting Puffy instead of Gilwing. Is this a bug, or do you need to restart the game for the settings to take effect?

I personally don't know if the boss randomizer is an option or not, but I do know that it takes effect after you complete the game

Yeah, I found that out with Google and turned it off. My problem was that even after I turned it off, I still fought a different boss than I should have.
