How long to beat
I'm thinking about buying this game, I love puzzles! But it does look like the kind of game I would finish in 3 hours and be done with it. How long did you take to finish the game? if it's not too much to ask, share your times for other puzzle games, like portal and swapper etc.

(btw, I'm aware of the faq. But I would still like to hear time comparisons to other games, it would give me a better parameter)

I have submitted times to there as well, but I'm a speedrunner.

The first time through, assuming you don't look up any hints, etc, my guess would be somewhere between 5-7 hours for most people, depending on how quickly you pick up on the solutions to the various types of puzzles. It could be more or less, but that's probably a safe ballpark estimate.

As for comparisons to other games, it's probably on par with the Swapper length-wise... but again, that really depends on how quickly you figure out the solutions. It's definitely longer than Portal, and harder.

@noibn Is it longer than Portal 1 or Portal 2?

I beat swapper in less than 3 hours. It was a very gratifying experience, I don't regret buying it at all, and I'm sure antichamber will be no different. But sometimes I'm more inclined to something that lasts longer. I think I'll keep antichamber on my wishlist for another moment.

Longer than Portal 1, which I think was like 3-4 hours max... but not as long as Portal 2, unless you get stuck.

First time through I beat it in 2 hours, second time through 30 minutes... but it is highly dependent on how your mind works honestly.

Longer than portal, but incredibly enjoyable

Buy it, it's worth every single penny. Beating it really varies through people, and the ways you choose, could take 2-10 hours first try, but yeah, it's possible to finish it in 15 minutes, if you know what to do.

I just finished it, and steam states I've played it for 7h. I frankly can't remember how long it took me to finish my first Portal playthrough, but my gut tells me Antichamber took me slightly longer. All things concidered I'd say it was well worth my money - many awestriking moments, and it was refreshing to play something so completely different. Highly recomended!
