Butterfly Effect - seen walkthrough, I can't get high enough (even jumping at top)
Was totally in love with this game for the first few hours of exploration. I broke down and watched the walkthrough to get me over this one hump. Great. But when I do it... NOPE. Tried it stupidly like 30 times, thinking maybe I was doing something wrong. No. (I make sure I push the block all the way.) When I look at the video, the elevator take them well above where I get. They easily exit onto the green level. I am left trying to jump the top desperately and repeatedly failing. HELP ME! (Can't imagine this could be a bug. I've exited and restarted to no effect.) HELP ME!

You have to jump when the elevator reaches its apex.

A video would help if you're able to record.
As stated, you need to jump at precisely the right moment, not slightly before or slightly afterward.

It wasn't my jump timing that was the issue as much as where exactly I was looking when I jumped. Once I looked higher I was able to get there. Weird that would matter so much. Also, there is latency between when I hit the spacebar and the actual jump, which is neat.

Neither of those should happen, it sounds more like lag to me.
It could be that, when looking up, your perception of when to jump changed, making it easier to jump at the right moment.

How would you fix lag? Get a better computer?

Yeah that's about all you could do, Antichamber isn't really a demanding game.
