Mac Compatible? Wont Start!

Is this game Mac compatible? It shows the Mac logo on the store page, I purchased it and allows me to install on my 27" iMac, but when I run it, it just goes maximised window, white screen and spinning wheel and does nothing.

Any ideas?

I tried checking Mac system requirements, but it only lists PC system requirements. o.O

Yes it's mac compatible.

[UPDATE] Well, tried windowed and uninstall options, didn't work. Other options involve file directories and files that don't exist on Mac or in different locations. Anyone have experience solving this issue on Macs that could advise a solution please?

I checked the store page, and when I looked at system requirements for this game, it only gave PC info. There was nothing on the store page about the game being playable on a Mac....I think you are due a refund!

It definitely is mac compatible. There's even a mac-specific guide on how to set up to speedrun the game - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/48982444 and the game is running just fine in the video, on mac.

Well, I'm not the only one having this problem, there's another thread also and no one seems to be having any solutions. Do the Devs check/reply here?

The dev isn't going to reply (at least in here, maybe to email or tweet he will), he doesn't work on the game anymore. The last update was in February of 2013.

Too bad the game is not maintained actively. I emailed him, let's see what happens. If anyone got this one running, LMK guys.

All I can say is make sure you don't go over 2hrs playtime trying to fix it so you can get a refund if you can't get it to work. Hate that it might be the only option since it is a great game, but if it's not going to work, then a refund is an option.

Taking the game off my wishlist, then... until such time as I use a Windows OS or the developer responds (neither is very likely, frankly), I won't even consider buying it, if for no other reason that it's misidentified as Mac OS compatible. THUMBS DOWN for false advertising/information.

I'll try to notify Steamstore of the problem, though I doubt they'll do much to fix the situation.
