is antichamber VR ever going to happen?
I just saw someone create a non-euclidian engine design and thought "Well, if only anti-chamber was in vr" So I thought I'd ask. I doubt it would happen but, Anti-chamber 2:VR could be something impressive.

doubt it, seems the developer has abandoned the game.

Not sure if abandoned the game is accurate, but IIRC the dev wasn't necessarily planning to be a game developer in the first place, as well as having with some fairly serious personal struggles to deal with. Hopefully he's doing good and we hear more from him but I wouldn't hold out hope for updates or a sequel to this.

Well, I did say "seems", right? I didn't see responses from the developer on most pages in the pinned threads, and no update has been given for the unfinished pink cube puzzle and the under-construction door since the release at 2013, which made me think this game has been abandoned (won't receive any updates or patch anymore). Thanks for the info about the dev.

Not every game needs to get continual updates. Games can be finished. The pink cubes and under construction door are meant to be the way they are. There was plan during development to do something with the pink cubes, but that changed and they were released as just an added extra thing to find. The dev didn't "abandon" the game - he finished what he wanted to accomplish with it and moved on.

The pink cubes which give nothing if all collected (not to mention the two that can only be accessed with noclip/glitch) kinda gives impression this game isn't in final state yet. Ideally the dev should declare the game is already final/finished in the faq thread to avoid confusion. And the faq thread and store page seems outdated, there is no mention of linux and mac support while actually they have been supported.

He didn't make the linux or mac versions.

interesting, but a little update to the store page's system requirement info would still be nice though.

True but I think that's the publishers fault. I don't entirely know how that works though so I could be wrong.

Isn't the publisher (Demruth) the same as the developer (Alexander Bruce) ? A little google of "Demruth" seems to show it to be his nickname, as well as his company name probably. Californ1a might know better about this.

Yeah, Demruth is the name he goes by. I believe he would have access to the partner page for the game, where you set the system requirements:
(can be seen at around 5:50 via the partner docs)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU1SFAa3QqM
That said, he might not know the system requirements for mac or linux, since he didn't make those builds.

I guess the author of mac & linux version could notify him the system requirement? or the dev could just write approximation of the specs.

Ok, I knew it was a long shot. But i'm happy to know there's other people who thinks this could be amazing.
