[HOW TO] - Host a Game - Server
If you wanna host your own game to play with your friends or family at home or wherever,

- just go to your gamefolder in steam located in
"steam - steamapps - common - king arthurs gold"

- there is a file named "dedicatedserver.bat"

- klick it

- a command console will start up AND at the same time a gamewindow will open up with
"king arthurs gold" JUST PRESS "Play" this will start your server

you ll see the server starting in console AFTER that happened

- go to your gamelibrary in steam and start the game from your library

Connecting to a Game

- ingame go to multiplayer and connect to... (yourself 127.0.0.1:xxxxx)

-Now Friends and buddies are able to connect to your server using your CLIENT IP means LAN IP or CLIENT INTERNET IP

Hosting Account MUST be online in Steam :

(Joining steamaccount could be offline but you need a KEG account at least you have to log in even in offlinemode -
means you can play this game with different instances of one kegaccount in LAN MODE one offline one online but host must be online in steam and you need an valid and original key )

Ports
MAYBE you need to open up ports and allow firewall if you want to host this online
PORTS are ( in my case everything worked without that fine)

UDP 50301 used to listen for game connections
TCP 50301 used for remote control "rcon"
UDP 50328 client communication
TCP 80 autoupdates
TCP 443 api

Serversettings
For further informatioon, mapchanges, rcon commands different game modes, public or private
follow this link

(But i think the first thing is knowing how to start a Server at all :) )

Hope this will help some folks, this game is very nice and deserves more players :)
I am myself new to this game but wanted to play with my friend in lan mode at home.
so maybe this will help you

kind regards and have fun

There is a folder called Mods in ur KAG folder, that houses all the mods for the game
there is also a CFG file or some scripting thingy that tells the game what mods to run, just put the name OF THE FOLDER that houses the mod to activate that mod for ur kag server thing, eg.
/ZombieMod (clarification needed)
hope htat helped

I had this same problem, you need to forward the ports in your router, just look it up on google or youtube.
The ports are:
UDP 50301 used to listen for game connections
TCP 50301 used for remote control "rcon"
UDP 50328 client communication
TCP 80 autoupdates
TCP 443 api

And after these ports have been opened, you should be able to see your server in the server list
