My KAG says,"cannot create THD account."
That is what comes up when I try to login. It comes up when I press play, says Authenticating with Steam, takes 3 minutes to load, then when finally does, it says it can't create the account and I have to play offline. :(.

Same issue here, maybe its just the server itself thats down for the moment? (hopeful)

Indeed, thank you all for your posts. By the way, I did reinstall Steam several times but that didn't help, and I am on a Mac. I will try to reinstall KAG specifically though.

I reinstalled KAG and it did not help. I saw another discussion that had a similar issue, though I am not completely sure if it is the exact same one. You might want to look there, it is the one by CPR Pug. If his issue is the same as ours, it may just be a bug with some computers that solves itself at different times. However, the cases are scattered, without an exact pattern, so it is hard to be sure.

Are we all on macs here?

Upon doing more research, I found that apple's parental controls can actually interfere with connection to KAG's authentication servers. Although mine are fully disabled, I'm still having issues. You guys can give it a shot though.

I have recently added parental controls(to limit the crud I see online, if you get what I mean) I tried after seeing that my KAG wasn't working, turned them off and tried to play again, even restarted my computer to fully reset them. After I tried this it still didn't work, so I'm out of options :/. Wait it out?

MacintoshHD/Users/USERNAME/Library/ApplicationSupport/Steam/steamapps/common/King Arthur's Gold

Launch from the king arthurs gold folder, not with the steam application. Good luck! :alwayschicken:
