Wizard's!!!!!
I am just saying but i have played this game for a long time.
and i really like this game but when you here "King Arthur" you think of knights, archers and wizards. I just think this game would be cooler if you added a playable character that can do magic. In the game mode capture the hall you can buy a magic scroll that you can use to instant kill the enemy that are near you, for 400 gold and i think adding a magic character would really full the whole magic aspect. (Just my opinnion)

Maybe the Wizard can be a support class just like the archer but the wizard can heal do damage and give a short term boost for all who are near the wizard. Plus a attack that can disable a knights shield so that archer, builders and wizards can kill them.
(Healing: it is hard to fight when you have one hart left and you are defending the hall/flag alone that is why a wizards healing ability can help)
(Shield: the knight block all the arrows coming if a wizard can use a ability to disable block for
2-3 seconds a archer would be more powerfull)
(Boost:This is just give a few seconds power up buff to all the players near the Wizard/ faster moving plus one hart.)

it would be kind of nice. the problem is that wizards tend to be very very popular in geek, nerd and pc gaming culture. everyone would play the wizard. if there would in any way be a wizard in the vanilla game. they would have to limit the usage of the class drastically. make only 1 player able to become the wizard on each team and make him moderately awesome.

In the roleplay mod you can play as a wizard.

Why does everyone want everything to be vanilla? Community mods used to be the best content in many games.

People are too lazy to wait a minute or two for the mods to download, is the entire reason people keep crying to have things officially added in.

Oh well, I guess they asked for DotA to get official as well when it was still a custom mod in warcraft.

i never said such a thing. i have probably said it in a way that made you misunderstand. i have asperger you see.

PS: mods are the essence of everything. it goes all the way down to what you want on your sandvich. of course i love it. this was just thread talking a bout things that could be added to the game. not acknowledgement.

I have aspergers as well and I understood what he said. I think maybe you feel that wizards are popular enough in mods and you think they would fit well in the offical game that can be supported and balanced by bringing in new features but not undermining or overpowing the other classas. Do you mean that?

Guys like i said the wizard is a support class that can heal and do the same damage as the archer becuase knight is industructable when it is archer or builder fighting them sometimes they get lucky when one the other classes falls on the knight or gets fits by a arrow

that and the fact that the class would be wildy popular amongst newcomers (its a wizard). How come we understand eachother more than we understand ``normal`` people?

I deal with people with various what nots and that when I'm in my volunteer jobs. Heck even my ex had aspergers.

To make wizards a bit easier to control on most modded servers that use them, their magic needs an auto-aim features. IE, when an enemy is near you, specifically near you at a specific point, the blast will automatically aim at them. When they aren't, you can control the magic like normal and have it shoot manually at those on in the auto-aim range.

Then, imagine with the above, a spell that shoots 3 or 4 in different directions. It'd make for some killer Wizard battles.
